Welcome Weight Loss Nation! On Wednesday's episode, we talked about what a healthy option pork is - it really is the other white meat. So today, I wanted to give you this wonderful recipe to grill your pork chops in a new way!


Pork Chop L’Orange

Servings : 4


1 TBS Organic Honey                                                                                                                     3 Med/Lge Carrots (Peeled & Cut into chunks)

¼ Cup Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

1TBS Freshly Chopped Chives

Salt to taste

4 Center Cut Pork Loin Chops (6-8oz each)

4 Cups of Fresh Green Beans & Broccoli Florets



In a small bowl combine the honey, orange juice, chives & salt

In a med sauce pan, place the carrot chunks in enough water to cover them.  Cook the carrots for 20-25 minutes, until the carrots are TENDER!                  Strain the carrots and place the carrots in a food processor.                               Pulse the carrots until the consistency is SMOOTH! You may have to use a spoon to push the carrots back down into the food processor a few times in order to get the smooth consistency.

Take the carrots and mix them into the bowl of other ingredients.

Pre-Heat your grill or broiler.

Sprinkle each chop with a “little salt.”

Brush one side of the pork chop with the “L’Orange” glaze. Place the pork chop “glaze down” on the grill or broiler. Brush the face up side of the pork chop with the “L’Orange” glaze. 

Cook each side of the pork chop for about 3.5 – 4minutes. Make sure to cut each pork chop to ensure the middle is white. No Pink in Pork Chops!

Steam fresh green beans & or broccoli for your side vegetable. ( 4 Cups)

Makes 4 servings!
